Bay River College collaborates with ACRP (Association of Clinical Research Professionals) and BSM (Banff Sport Medicine Foundation) to provide students with an unlimited professional learning experience to achieve their education and career goals. Together, we are finding innovative ways to educate our students, to foster leadership, to offer hands-on skills and to prepare for careers in the clinical research field.

Students who are enrolling in the Applied Clinical Research Post-Graduate diploma program are eligible to receive a membership in ACRP. You will get complimentary access to 80+ continuing education programs online and on-demand from Bay River College. We also affiliate with BSM to provide practicum opportunities to leverage student’s expertise. Working in the industry allows students to apply theoretical knowledge into practice, solve real clinical problems, and adopt responsibilities of clinical research procedures.

Who We Are:

Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) is a non-profit organization founded in 1976, with more than 13,000 members who work in clinical research in more than 70 countries. ACRP supports clinical research professionals through membership, training and development, and certification.

What We Do:

We are improving quality in clinical research by directly impacting the professionals conducting clinical trials. We are leading innovation in clinical research workforce development by setting standards for professional competence, and building and validating competence in the workforce.

Our mission is to promote excellence in clinical research. Our vision is that clinical research is performed ethically, responsibly, and professionally everywhere in the world.

Who We Are:

Banff Sport Medicine (BSM) is a charity organization founded in 2017 with a team of health care professionals comprised of Orthopedic Surgeons, Sport Medicine Physicians, Physiotherapists, Athletic Therapists, Research, and Administrative Staffs. BSM is also a team of clinicians actively conducting clinical research as well as a teaching facility that offers a fellowship training program.

What We Do:

Our primary objectives are to promote health in the area of Sport Medicine and Orthopedics, to advance education by providing educational programming to the general public on the prevention and early treatment of musculoskeletal injuries, and to undertake activities ancillary and incidental.

Our Mission & Vision:

Our mission is to prevent, treat, rehabilitate, and research musculoskeletal and sport injuries among people of all ages and abilities. Our vision is to provide world-class sport medicine and arthroscopy clinical care, research and education.
