Program Summary

In the modern digital world, threats are everywhere. Security breaches can upend lives and cost organizations thousands of dollars in fines and lost revenue.

Certified Ethical Hackers are skilled professionals who can see the world in the same way as malicious hackers, but who use their knowledge and skills to protect and secure systems. This course, created by EC-Council and offered by Bay River College, teaches participants how to assess systems and networks for vulnerabilities, and how to secure them. This one-week program covers how to perform vulnerability analysis on networks, the emerging threats to IoT platforms, new attack vectors such as cloud computing and artificial intelligence, and the latest ransomware, financial malware, IoT botnets and Android malware. This certification course also offers hands-on experience with the latest hacking tools on Windows, Linux and mobile platforms.

Bay River College offers the CEH v10 Training Program in-class at our Calgary campus. This one-week course is taught by cyber security professionals and experts in an academic setting that supports learning. 

The Certified Ethical Hacker training program is designed for both experienced IT professionals and those just getting started in the field. The skills covered benefit  It covers the latest cybersecurity threats, and the tools and techniques needed to combat them. The knowledge, skills and confidence provided by a CEH Certification is an asset in any IT professional’s arsenal. 

After completing this one-week, in-class course, students will take the CEH v10 Certification Exam. Successful completion awards students with the EC-Council’s CEH Certification, demonstrating one’s expertise in ethical hacking.

The Certified Ethical Hacker training course has been developed for those with some IT or network administrator experience. It adds a unique set of cyber security skills to the repertoire of professionals, allowing them to better meet the challenges posed by modern threats. Security officers, auditors, site professionals and others who are responsible for the security of an organization’s network and digital property can benefit from this course.


The Certified Ethical Hacker training course takes place over the course of a single 5-day work week. Classes begin and 9 a.m. and run until 5 p.m.
