Overview
Bay River College’s Information Technology and Network Administrator program, students are prepared to confidently handle the day-to-day responsibilities of managing computer information systems for businesses of any size. A graduate of this program will be prepared to optimize and maintain a company’s digital and hardware infrastructure.
Information Technology and Network Administrator students complete their education with 200 hours of practicum experience. During the Information Technology and Network Administrator program, students gain experience with local area networks (LANs), their use within wide area networks (WANs), and their interconnection to end-user devices. In addition, students will learn about web server management and its connectivity with local networks. Therefore, students can expect to learn a range of important IT skills, including managing system and client software, creating web pages, protecting networks, keeping track of user accounts, and monitoring network event logs for problem resolution.
